We actually fixed a version of this bug a few weeks ago when the clocks changed in the Americas, but it looks like this is another variation of the same issue. The bug is in the Samsung SDK, and it is something we’ve been working around on our side.
We’ll get another fix out as soon as we can. Thanks for reporting it and bringing it to our attention.
We’ve identified the issue and have a fix on the way!
We’ve shipped the Samsung Health fix in StepSmash 1.9.1, and once Google Play approves the release it will be available as an update for your device.
After you update, we’d love to hear how things are going. If you notice any other issues syncing your Samsung Health account, please let us know.

Hey, I’ve updated to 1.9.1 and the app crashes now if I try to open it
I get this screen for a second, then it crashes

Another build is on the way! Still figuring out how this issue escaped our automated tests, but we’ll be addressing that internally so this doesn’t happen again.
