StepSmash release candidate goes live on Android and awaits iOS beta approval

We’ve shipped the first release candidate for StepSmash. This release is already live on Android and is awaiting beta approval for iOS. If there are no major issues in this release the intent is that this release is what we take through app store approval for launch. Any small or minor issues we will address with over-the-air patches after launch.

There are no major changes in this build, and the only visible changes are

  • Added the app version to bottom of the settings page
  • We improved the contrast of the user progress grids on the SmashBingo Leaderboard tab, as the old version was hard to read
  • We disabled the theme switcher for now since it’s not ready for launch, it’ll be back real soon!

Patch Update – UI Scaling Fixes

We are rolling out an over-the-air update to address issues with the user interface when system text size is increased.

Fixes

  • Resolved an issue where the bottom rows of the Bingo grid could be pushed off-screen at larger text scales.

  • Corrected a problem that prevented scrolling within the grid view under these conditions.

Update Information

The patch will be applied automatically and will take effect the next time you restart the app.
