Patch Update – Improvements to Add Friend experience

We’re releasing an over-the-air update to make the process of adding friends clearer and more intuitive. The original flow left too much room for confusion, so this patch focuses on smoothing out how you find, add, and manage friends.

Fixes

  • Improved the placement and layout of the friend search bar for easier access.
  • Refined and expanded the supporting text around the friend search bar to make its purpose clearer.
  • Reorganized the Friends tab so incoming and outgoing friend requests now appear at the top of the list.
  • Added a prompt when creating or joining a game: if you don’t have any friends yet, you’ll see a button that takes you directly to the Friends tab.

Update Information

The patch will be applied automatically to the 1.0.1 release of StepSmash and will take effect the next time you restart the app.
