Following up on our announcement of Bingo Blitz, we’d love to hear what you think.
Bingo Blitz is our first public game, and we’re treating it as an experiment. We’ll be making adjustments along the way, and your feedback will play a big role in shaping how it evolves.
Here are a few things we’d love to know:
How was the experience of joining a Blitz game?
Did the one-day format feel too short, too long, or just right?
Was it fun to compete with a bigger group of players?
Did anything feel confusing or frustrating?
Of course, you don’t have to stick to these questions. Share anything that stood out to you, good or bad. The more detail you give us, the better we can make future Blitz games and other public game formats.
I noticed that some time after finishing second place the leaderboard showed me as being in first place. We’ve been fighting bugs with the positions on the leaderboard in bingo games, and it looks like we’ve got more work to do there.
Yesterday, i finished a Smash Bingo game. The Leaderboard and Activity screens had me finishing second. But the screen that popped up to celebrate my win said congratulations 3rd place and displayed a bronze medal.
Didn’t bother me in the slightest either way, just passing it along!
I loved the bingo blitz! It was too short for me, since I go for a walk every other day and otherwise sit at a desk all day. I’d love to be invited to more Bingo Blitz games- once a week or more would be fantastic.
I also love that we can custom name our games now! Fun!!

We’re definitely planning to expand the variety and frequency of public games. We have some fun ideas in the works around how public games and badges will tie together, and I expect we’ll start rolling out more options as that system comes together.
Right now, Bingo Blitz should appear roughly twice a week. The timing is randomized, so it won’t always land on the same days, but you shouldn’t have to wait too long before the next one pops up.
We’ve also talked about adding a push notification when a new public game becomes available, with an option to turn it off in notification settings. Would that be something you’d find useful?
