Changes to Community Accounts

Today we’ve shipped an update to how you log in to the StepSmash Community Forums.

Previously, the StepSmash Community required a separate account to log in and participate. Starting today, the StepSmash Community and StepSmash now share the same account system. When logging in to the StepSmash Community, you’ll use the same account you already use to log in to StepSmash.

This change helps simplify account management and makes it easier to move between StepSmash and the community.

FAQ

Do I need to create a new account?

No. If you already have a StepSmash account, you can use it to log in to the Community Forums.

What if I already had a Community account?

As long as the email address on your Community account matches the email address on your StepSmash account, everything should work automatically.

Has my forum content been affected?

No. Your existing posts and activity remain intact.

Why did you make this change?

To reduce confusion, simplify sign-in, and make it easier to move between StepSmash and the Community.
